I want to share a little context for why I care so much about engagement and routines in schools.

In 2022, the school where I was principal was featured in the news after moving from an F-rated to a B-rated campus with 4 distinctions. (Eventually, in 2025, we earned an A-rating with 5 distinctions).  That didn't happen because of an isolated program or a quick fix.  It happened because we focused on strong routines, clear instruction, and creating spaces where students actually wanted to learn.  Joy and structure mattered.

Now, when I look into math classrooms, I see that same opportunity to support schools with better routines, meaningful engagement, and math that feels connected to real thinking.  I'm trying to make this same kind of impact - but this time in math classrooms on a larger scale.

Let's bring fun and engagement back into our schools!!
